Computer Emergency Notification System (CENS) – A tool for the management of the USDA computer emergency notification information and records.  CENS utilizes the internet/intranet to notify personnel of emergency, building related alerts and messages in a designed environment.  Master File – Data input includes USDA NT account user, location, message type and alert status.

Retention

Cut-off at end of calendar year. Destroy/ delete 6 years after Cut-off date or when no longer needed for administrative, legal, or audit purposes.

Radiation Safety Management System (RSMS) – an online, web-based database management system used by USDA employees and the Radiation Safety Staff to manage information required by the Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC).  Master File – Data input includes USDA agency, permit holder name, location, city, state, type of radioactive material, and model serial number.

Retention
