Tim McCrosson is the Associate Chief Information Officer (ACIO) for the Client Experience Center (CEC). In this role he is responsible for delivering services and capabilities that support USDA personnel across the country and around the globe with the tools they need to deliver the mission. Before his return to USDA Tim managed a team analyzing risk data in the Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency (CISA) in the Department of Homeland Security (DHS). He has also served as the Chief for Agency Oversight in the Office of the Federal Chief Information Officer (OFCIO) in the Office of Management and Budget (OMB), supported the Homeland Security and Government Affairs Committee (HSGAC) in the Senate, was an IT Program Manager at the Food and Nutrition Service (FNS) also in USDA, and was an IT Project Manager at Housing and Urban Development (HUD).

He has a Bachelor’s degree from Illinois College, and a Master’s degree in the Management of Information Technology from the University of Virginia. He is also a graduate of USDA’s Senior Executive Service Candidate Development Program where he earned a Master’s Certificate from American University. In his free time, he loves trail running and soccer.
