Telecommunications Services & Operations is now
Enterprise Network Services (ENS)

National Telecommunications Services and Operations (NTSO) provides USDA Agencies and staff offices cost effective centralized services for telecommunications operations nationwide;

provides economies of scale in telecommunications services;

processes and maintains usage and billing data from invoices and other sources;

provides FTS2001 Billing support;

coordinates the Telecommunications Mission Area Control Officers (TMACOs);

Supports the Telecommunications Network Stabilization and Migration Procedure (TNSMP);

supports Departmental and Unplanned Waiver Process and maintains the Forecast Inventory Resources database;

delivers operational management of telecommunications services;

manages the Department's Enterprise Backbone Network and Internet Access;

manages the Domain Name Services, IP addressing, and other shared Departmental network/data services;

manages the the USDA firewalls;

provides network modeling, analyses and optimization; and

provides network design and development assistance to USDA agencies and staff offices.
