Sandy Facinoli

Sandy Facinoli became Acting ACIO for ITM in February 2008. Prior to her appointment, Ms. Facinoli served as ITM Deputy ACIO. She has been with USDA for 20 years and has served in many positions throughout the Department.

Ms. Facinoli joined USDA to establish the Youth Development Information Center at the National Agricultural Library and soon moved on to serve as the director of the Food and Nutrition Information Center. She was Deputy Director of Communications and Education at the Food Safety and Inspection Service and special assistant for eGovernment there before joining OCIO in 2002 to help lead USDA's support of the eGovernment initiatives.

Ms. Facinoli has a Masters of Science in Nutrition from Hood College and lives with her husband, Bob Graham, in Frederick, Maryland.
