Mission
The Customer and Program Management Office (CPMO) provide department-wide strategic sourcing support, and Project and Program Management capabilities for the CIO. As a primary responsibility, CPMO develops OCIO project management processes, toolsets, and training programs for project managers. It also consolidates reporting for OCIO programs and project.
Primary Capabilities
- Provides Program and Management Support for the OCIO
- Develops PMO project management process and toolset training
- Coordinates consolidated reporting of OCIO projects. Provides program and project monitoring and reporting, technical assistance, and other activities as required
- Formulates, recommends, implements, and maintains programs and projects for OCIO
- Ensures the OCIO effectively uses its communications channels with regards to programs and projects and their status
- Plans for the effective implementation of information technology benchmarking by independent organizations (such as Gartner Benchmarking) to gauge areas in which the OCIO is an industry leader and identifies areas needing improvement
- Communicates with internal and external customers to ensure that they understand the services offered by the OCIO
- Establishes and maintains department-wide contracts
